If you are new to this site the first thing you'll want to know is, what is this place?  Well, I am so glad you asked. This site is where Zaphod gets confirmation that he's the center of the universe. This universe at least. If you understand that reference, welcome fellow hitchhiker. If you don't understand, do yourself a favour, get yourself a copy of every book Douglas Adams has ever written. Brew yourself a nice cup of tea, grab a towel and get ready to hitchhike the galaxy.

I'm not Zaphod, but this is my universe, my on-line universe at least, of which, I am the center. Which of course, comes as no surprise to me. (Again, read the books).

This site contains various things.  Some of the site is open to the public but theres also quite a bit of the site that is behind closed doors. If you so desire you can sign up and access the members sections. It's free, no catch. What you will find in the members section, apart from what you can see links for in the menu over there, are photo galleries, and ramblings that I call "Musings". This is where I continue to document my fight with cancer. I write down my thoughts, feelings, opinions etc. Not all of my musings are about my cancer battle, there are also other general musings and some entertaining and amusing musings, too. Feel free to wander the site and send me your comments if you wish. Don't forget the guest book!

UPDATE: You know, it has been a long time since I wrote this introduction and a lot has changed. I'm not in active cancer treatment at the moment, although I get tested every 3 months and often get results that scare me - but I made it through and I am still going strong! I'm still blogging, about all sorts of things. When I get time, I'll also be adding a lot more photos to the albums section.  Anyway, take a look around - I hope you enjoy your visit!
